Our first church plant. The Village church is a growing fellowship just outside of the town.
For the young, and young at heart. This is our modern, trendy plant that is making a great impact in our town.

Planning your Visit

Hello :)

Welcome to our church. We have created this special page just for you, so you can get to know more about us and find all the information about planning a visit one Sunday. Just keep scrolling down the page to read more...

Let's start off with the basics!

Where and When

We meet at the Town Church, Burr Elm Court in Caldecote for our Sunday Service at 9.30am. There is a map below... For your first visit, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start. It would also be great to meet you. Further down this welcome page, we have a form you can fill in to make yourself known to us.  If you want, we will happily meet you before the service and welcome you personally.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits from 9am, and this is an excellent chance to met people, or just relax and enjoy a drink and snack. This is all free.

Please do not feel you have to meet us first or come early. You are more than welcome to arrive at 9.30 and go straight into the meeting if you prefer - no pressure. We just want you to feel comfortable attending the church and get involved as much or as little as you would like.

Plan your journey: Just click on the Directions icon in the map (if you are on a phone, then select "View Large Map" first) and your preferred method of transport to plan your journey in.

If you get the bus, the closes bus stop is at the bottom of Main Street near the petrol station the church is just a 2 minute walk up the road.

Accessibility: There is easy wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs. Please just let us know before you come, or ask one of the welcome team to help you get set up. We also have disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The service starts with a short welcome from one of our team members and then we have a time of sung worship, led by our band who lead us in both modern and classic songs. We typically have 2 or 3 songs and they last about 15 - 20 minutes in total. We then share news and notices about the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based, and applies to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song.

What about my kids?
We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for:

  • Creche (0 months to 3 years). Children under 6 months are welcome but must be accompanied by their parent/carer at all times.
  • Mini Me's (4-7 years)
  • Jazzy Juniors (8-11 years)
  • Youth - 12+ Stay in service.

Children stay with their parents at the start of the service for the welcome, songs and notices. We think it is important for families to be together at church. At the end of the notices someone will announce that the children need to go to their groups. You will need to go with your children and register them, the first time they attend. Whilst you are dropping your kids off at the group, we pause the service to give you time to come back and enjoy the start of the sermon.

The kids groups usually consist of, a nice welcome, a story, some music and a craft or free play with plenty of popular toys. Once the service has concluded, you are free pick your children up.

After the Service

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits for you to enjoy. It's a great chance to meet people or just relax on your own.
